Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. /Uplift Foundation,
has dedicated itself to the ongoing support of many community
outreach programs. These programs include: college scholarships to deserving
high seniors, fans for elderly, little league baseball and big brothers/big
sisters outings. Additionally, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., /Uplift
Foundation is committed to sponsor and support community outreach programs
designed to promote self-improvement, self-reliance, leadership development,
personal responsibility, entrepreneurship and economic awareness.

The 8th annual “Don Williams Memorial Golf Tournament"
will again be held at The Links Of Pine Hill
Golf Course, 1005 Alice Avenue, Memphis TN 38106
Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 7:30 a.m. This
year's event will again be a scramble format.
Don Williams was a member of this chapter and a veteran officer with the Memphis
Police Department, who was tragically slain while working off duty to support
his family, Don was very active in the community. His concern and generosity
enriched the lives of many Memphis area youth.
Money raised from this tournament will help support our Chapters’ community
outreach programs. These programs include: college scholarships to deserving
high school seniors, fans for the elderly, little league baseball and Big
Brothers /Big sisters outings.
You can honor Don’s legacy and support our ongoing mission by sponsoring a hole
during the golf tournament. We will provide an attractively designed placard
identifying you or your company as a one of this year’s sponsors. Sponsors will
also have access to the VIP tent area during the tournament.
Uplift Inc., is a Tennessee Non-profit Corporation with
U.S. 501(c)(3). Your contribution is tax deductible. In
recognition, the chapter will also present you with a "Don Williams Memorial
Golf Tournament” Sponsor's Plaque signifying your support of this chapter’s
ongoing commitment to this community's youth.
